Our wedding will take place at Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel, a historic monastery perched high above the Amalfi Coast with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.Originally built in the 13th century as a monastery and church, the convent was home to Capuchin monks for centuries. The monks lived, prayed, and cultivated the surrounding terraced gardens here until 1813, when the monastery was eventually closed. In 1882, the historic complex was transformed into a hotel, carefully preserving many of its original architectural features. Today, guests can still see the cloisters, stone corridors, ancient chapel, and peaceful gardens that once formed part of the monastery’s daily life. Set into the cliffs overlooking Amalfi, the convent combines centuries of history with one of the most spectacular views on the Amalfi Coast, making it a truly special place for us to celebrate with all of you.

A scenic ferry ride from Amalfi to Capri, offering incredible views of the coastline along the way. It’s an easy and popular day trip, with frequent departures and a chance to explore Capri’s beaches, shops, and dramatic cliffs.

Tile Making Excursion

We’ll be walking around town and participating in a ceramic workshop, so please dress comfortably. Light summer clothing, comfortable walking shoes, and sun protection are recommended. The Amalfi Coast can still be quite warm in September.Think: linen, sundresses, short sleeves, comfortable shoes.

Bring your best beach club chic! Think: summer dresses, linen shirts, polos, button-downs, light trousers, nice sandals.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception

Our wedding will be a black tie event, celebrating the quintessential glamour of the Italian Riviera- think Casino Royale meets Sofia Loren.Men: tuxedo with a bow tie. A dark formal suit with a tie is also acceptable.Women: formal evening gowns. Ethereal, vintage, romantic.
